Project Dissida: Planning the Undertaking

Sat Sep 26, 2009, 7:38 PM
  • Mood: Artistic
  • Listening to: Final Fantasy Music
  • Reading: The Whiteboard (Webcomic)
  • Watching: My Screen
  • Playing: Dragon Quest 8
  • Eating: Hamburger
  • Drinking: Diet Pepsi
Okay I just watched a Review of Final Fantasy Dissidia and I was thinking: Man that was cool, especially all the music

which then Got me thinking "Hm, yanno Maybe I should practice one FF song and stick it up on youtube Danny could help.."

But then I got thinking "What if it's not just me...What if More people sang the same songs..."

Thus spawned in my Brain Project DISSIDIA: the Final Fantasy Choir

While this would be COOL it's currently Impossible for me alone...for one thing although I CAN sing I have nothing but a mike and the ability to make Minute-Long reccordings. Ergo if Project Dissida is to be pulled off there needs to be a few things

1) Someone to record, and very possibibly mix all the voices into a coherent mess very possibly also to sync it to the music as well

2) All Good Choirs need a Director, the person to kick the ass of anyone who isn't in tune and support the ones who are doing well. also if this choir ends up doing Japanse style songs the director may have to help with Enuciation (I know i tend to mumble when I don't know what the hell I'm singing)

3) Songs of choice, This thankfully should be the easiest, after all you can always look up the Lyrics and very often the songs Via the Wonderful world of the Internet right? Like I said with number 2 though, Japanese style songs are probably going to be the hardest to read and understand, those who know how to pronounce the words are going to be an ASSET.

4) VOICES. and a LOT of voices. though I have a feeling female voices (Alto Soprano etc) will probably be a greater asset than Male tones (Tennor Bass, Baritone) mostly though due to the fact that a lot of the vocal songs are sung solely by women...though I'm sure the party will be complete with singing the Sephiroth Themesong (X BOX EAT BERRIES HE'S A FAIR ENITY SEPH-I-ROTH! Ha I kid.) or better yet the Final Fantasy 6 Opera.

So Yeah, as friggin awesome as this sounds, it's most likely completely unpheasable under the relms of the Internet, It's a nice dream though...(You are Not Alone as a full choir preformance...wow.)

What do you guys think?

I am commenting on your page, w00t!

Just read that "slide on the ice," line on this page. I didn't know you liked M*A*S*H too! I love that show. Sydney Freeman was pretty sw33t, even though the character had a couple of names in the series ^_^

The best thing about it, I found it funny when I was a kid at Seven years old watching it with my Dad, and today as a 20-something year old it's gotten even better :D
