                                         Raihu- BONUS ROUND
                                                  Continue…?

“We Avian-Kin did once visit you lot on the continents below ours,” Angel said in a matter-of-fact tone.
“Is that so? What happened then?” the human replied in fascination, Angel and Raihu had bumped into her on the way to a human city, a woman in a green coat that called herself Lion Rose.
“Nothing good unfortunately, the Demon-kin weren’t really interested in the Avian-kin so they left us alone, but the Humans began to cry that ‘angels’ were among them, which of course isn’t true.”
“Of course.” Raihu replied only half-listening to the tale Angel was telling to this strange human.
“Well then it really started getting bad because some human got the idea in their heads that if they could get a feather off of us than it would be a powerful cure-all, again nonsense, but it got to the point where Humans would go out and try and capture or shoot down any Avian-Kin who wanted to visit the Humans or the Demon-kin. We tried to show we were as mortal as they were,”
“But they didn’t believe you, and thus your entire race cowers on their floating continents hidden from the rest of the world.” Raihu said.
“Exactly.” Angel replied.
“Phhht. I bet if I met a real live angel I’d be able to tell the difference between it and an Avian-kin.”

Raihu was furious. not at the little girl who had insulted her, nor at the child's ability to make Raihu sign the document in that room. Raihu’s fury brimmed due to the fact she had magnificently failed in retrieving her friends....her friends who were lost in the unknown, most likely injured, very possibly dead.
“I could smell their scents…just beyond that door; I only realized it after I signed that bloody scroll.”
Raihu needed to hit something, all the rage that was churning inside threatened to cause only trouble to herself.
“Where the hell am I going anyway?” Raihu thought stopping in her tracks. She had gone through the door she had came from but it was definitely not the same place, in fact it appeared that she didn’t seem to be anywhere, there was no walls, nothing that would constitute a ground or floor, and anything that was a sky seemed nonexistent.
“Severely bizarre.” Raihu thought, her anger now being replaced for mild confusion.
Suddenly there was a large sound, much like the sound a person would make if they decided to punch a mattress, but on a much larger scale. Raihu jumped from the sudden sound that had come from behind her and turned to see the origin of the sudden noise.

“Ow,” moaned the strange being that was currently flopped over in a heap on the ground.
Raihu managed to spot a wing-tip among the sprawled form. “Avian-kin?” she thought before speaking to the being
“Hullo, are you alright?”
“Oh I’m alright, thank you for asking.” The being said slightly muffled as it went through the ponderous task of righting-itself.
Raihu forced herself to contain giggles as she watched this creature in worn robes try and place itself right-side-up and was failing as it groped around for something.
“Uh….You hurt or something?” Raihu asked slowly a little unnerved by such a strange being, “Um, I think I can get some bandages if you need some.” This was about the time when the being managed to stand up straight.
“No I should be fine, thank you though for the offer.”
There were a few moments of silence as Raihu inspected this being. It’s face neither femmine nor masculine but it’s entire aura of self screamed of an awkward bookish-type of a being, that was in a way cute, if she were into that type of a creature.
“Uh,” Raihu said slowly a little uncertain on how to proceed “I’m Raihu, who are you?”
Instead of the creature introducing itself, it opened the large book it hugged to its chest like a life preserver.
“Raihu…Raihu…Raihu…Ah! Here you are, Feline Demon-kin, went to your old temple to try and form a meeting between the elders and an archaeologist who was interested in studying them....business partners and friends Lion Rose and Angel currently missing in action, as far as you know.”
Raihu blinked in surprise as the creature read her entire life story from the temple to now before closing the book with a sharp slam, nearly catching one of it’s own fingers in the pages.“Uh....….”

“You know you were in real danger when you were in Turiel’s realm.” The being said with a nod. “You should have known better to pick up a strange book without knowing what it does.” the being said with a nod Raihu raised a hand “Wait a second, what do you mean ‘Turiel’? I thought Turiel was a place.” The being shook its head causing both its robes and its wings to shift slightly.
“No, Turiel’s not a place, though he wouldn't be as dangerous if he were.”
“Dangerous? How dangerous are we talking here?” Raihu said a little nervous.
“Very, very.” The being replied, emphasizing the point by childishly repeating the word.
“Lots of people have gotten hurt from associating with Turiel.”
Raihu’s rage returned full force mixed with panic. “Goddess, I’ve been so stupid!” she said, quickly running past the being and down the path she had come from.
“Hey! Wait where are you going?” the being cried,
Raihu turned around only a moment “I’m going back!”  She said turning around again only to find herself being picked up by the back of Lion Rose’s jacket.
“That’s not a good idea you know Miss Raihu you could get hurt you know.”
“I know that!!” Raihu squealed squirming frantically like a baby kitten being taken up by its mother.
“You were kicked out of Turiel’s domain anyway,”
“Then I’ll kick down the door, lemmie go!” Raihu cried waving her arms frantically before slipping out of the overcoat and turning to face the creature with a hiss.
“I can’t let you go on and get hurt,”
“Gimmie that coat!” Raihu snarled.
“Not until you promise to go home.” The creature replied almost in a fatherly tone.
“I can’t!!” Raihu moaned getting on her knees “I can’t go back while my friends could be in some kind of trouble. I’m responsible for them being in this mess, if they weren’t so keen on coming with me to the temple then I would have never needed that thrice-goddess-damned Grimoire to get them away from that zombie horde!”
Then the dam broke, the water began to flow and trickle down her face and despite everything Raihu was beginning to cry.
“Aw don’t cry! I’m sure everything is alright, I mean, Uuuh.” The creature said flapping its wings in distress as it began to look for something to wipe at Raihu’s tears.
The stress, combined with no food or sleep for what Raihu could only have imagined to be nearly a day, as well as worry and anger had forced her down to her lowest.
“What am I doing crying?” she sobbed out loud to herself more than to the creature. “I don’t cry! I haven’t cried since Master Neria died!” she wiped at her face with both hands, not noticing when her pinky-nail scratched itself across her cheek causing a small cut to bleed a little.
“But An-chan’s so weak…she can’t fight her way out of a wet paper bag without her swords and Rosie needs her coat to get her guns….an’ yet they’re the best friends I ever had and I may have killed them!!”
Suddenly a handkerchief was thrust under Raihu’s nose.
“Wipe your face.”  The creature said.
Raihu took the hanky and did so, snuffling the boogers back up her nose. “Thanks.” Raihu replied returning the hanky.
“They’re not dead,” the being said.
“Don’t lie, you don’t know.” Raihu replied.
“I don’t lie!” the being replied sulkily “God doesn’t like lying.”
Raihu looked up at the being. “You’re kinda weird, are you a magician or something like that?”
“Ummm….” The being shuffled his feet nervously trying to dig for an explanation
“Never mind I don’t think I need to know.” Raihu said standing up “What I do need to know is this: Can you get me back to Turiel’s domain?”
“But if you go back you’ll get hurt, maybe even die.”
“Please, if I don’t go back I might as well die right here.” Raihu said “I’m not abandoning my friends for anything.”
The being squirmed. “Are you sure?”
“Dead sure.” Raihu replied.
“Okay, I don’t like it but, I’ll let you go back.”
“Sweet! Thanks Mister….aahh….Miss?” Raihu searched for a name.
“Raziel.” The creature said returning the overcoat. “Please don’t get killed ok?”
“I promise, on my honor I’ll get An-chan, Rosie, and myself home all in one piece.”

“Chaos is normally looked upon as a thing of evil.” Neria said to her new student “While it is true evil does love chaos, it also loves order just as much so long as it can become the dominating force of the universe.”
“So what is chaos Master Neria?” the young Raihu asked
“The balancing force. Neither good nor evil will be allowed to grow in strength in the mortal world, so long as chaos exists in this world,” her teacher replied firmly, “Chaos, real chaos is not an animal to be tamed; it will always devour, always drink blood, and always ensure ruin to enemy and ally alike until it finds its place.”
